Payment Model

Prices charged depend on the user type and usage volume. The different account types offered also differ by the range of features available. Please have a look at the detailed overview of the benefits of the different account types.

Costs are determined by the number of words in a document. We settle this via a credit point system, in which 1 PlagPoint () allows the analysis of 100 words or fraction thereof (1-100 words = 1, 101-200 words = 2, etc.).

You pay either $6.25 USD or $12.50 USD via PayPal in advance, which will establish or top up your PlagPoint account. See below for an overview of how many words or pages this accounts for, assuming an average of 250 words per page.

Users who not only intend to check a couple of pages, but do have a great demand, we can offer better prices. For a fee of $75.00 USD you save your documents as long as you want including 10.000 . For a comparison of this payment model with a single user, have a look at this table.

Professional accounts for institutions with many users are available. All users of your institution receive an individual sub-account, while a single administrative account is billed. Here you can also set individual usage limits. The basic pricing (smallest package) is the power user pricing (see above): For an annual fee of $75.00 USD (payment via invoice possible) you enjoy the advantages of the institutional version of PlagScan including 10.000 .
If your document analyzes exceed this amount, further PlagPoints will be invoiced for 0.75¢ ($0.0075). In case you require far more plagiarism checking we might be able to offer you a lower price or even flat-rate for high volumes.
