Our Mission is to Provide Better Accessibility for Everyone
PlagScan’s services are used by many public institutions. Therefore, we want to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA to make our website and product accessible and usable for a wide range of people with disabilities.
But our efforts not only have a positive impact on people with disabilities. By improving and maintaining a high level of accessibility of our contents and tools, every user benefits: We ensure that our services are easy to understand and to use for everyone.
By aiming to provide an AA accessibility level according to the WCAG 2.1 by the end of 2021 we are working hard to comply with the European Standard EN 301 549 demanded by the EU Directive 2016/2102 and with Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. § 794 (d)).
For more details on how exactly we already provide accessibility on our website and in our products, please have a look at our Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).
